ZOA, as an international NGO, supports people who have lost everything due to armed conflict or natural disaster. Together, we can come to their aid in emergencies and remain faithful to communities as they recover – providing new opportunities for them to help themselves again. The work of ZOA is coordinated from the Netherlands. We are active in multiple countries in Africa, South America, the Middle East Region, and Asia. Programme Manager

(Mykolaiv, Ukraine)

Our work in Ukraine

ZOA started in April 2022 with relief activities for IDPs in Uzhgorod and Zakarpattia region. Today ZOA works with 50 people staff in 5 locations: Chernihiv, Kryvij Rih, Mykolaiv, Kyiv and Uzhgorod. Following the strategy from relief to recovery ZOAs’ focus is on the most vulnerable people in rural areas with cash for shelter and livelihood programmes in a big scale. The largest programme share is located in the South-East of Ukraine. The overall portfolio comes to about 7 million Euro in 2024, mostly funded by institutional donors.

Your challenge

As Programme Manager for ZOA Ukraine and commited to the people affected by the war in Ukraine, you will be dedicated to and responsible for the longer term strategic programming, as well as realisation of project and programme goals in Mykolaiv Oblast, in accordance with applicable internal and external preconditions and standards.
