About this role

In this role, you are responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of the progress and results of programmes and projects of Plan International Nederland, and for sharing and applying the learning. Based on the learnings within our projects, you will identify and share insights and opportunities for evidence-based adapted programming, fundraising, lobby and advocacy and communication.  

As Planning Monitoring Evaluation and Learning advisor you are part of the Knowledge and Impact (K&I) Team of Plan International Nederland, consisting of a total of three PMEL colleagues, four thematic advisors, two communication advisors and a manager. This is a temporary position for 7 months. The tasks are carried out in coordination with relevant project managers.

What you bring

Our ideal candidate has experience in Planning Monitoring Evaluation and Learning and in applying learnings. The candidate is open to learn more in a fast-paced and internationally oriented environment. The candidate is a flexible team player who communicates tactfully with colleagues from various cultures and organizations, both verbally and in written communication. Experience in managing data and programs, developing learning agenda’s and managing project management systems is very welcome.  

For this position, the following competencies are essential: quality oriented, strong analytical skills, excellent teamwork skills, network skills, gender sensitivity and (very important) a good sense of humour!
